I forget who it was on team @ethena_labs, @gdog97_ or someone else who said this. But I love it.
When @KASTcard entered the “stablecoin neobank” race, we were probably the last to start. We just crossed 10 months in existence, and initially had over 100 competitors ahead of us.
Today, only 4 are ahead of us, and with some luck we will grow to become the biggest by 2026. Most started 3-7 years ago, so it’s quite the mountain to climb.
What differentiates us, why are we growing faster than others?
Well, it’s all in the details…
1/ Product & UX
We fanatically obsess over the perfect user experience. 99% acceptance rates. High limits. A dollar is a dollar, regardless of chain or stablecoins. Widest global coverage. Soon, an unmatched global network to receive/send cash for stablecoins. Super simple UX.
We do the hard work, so for you the user, it feels magically simple.
2/ Customer Obsession & Trust
One of our weapons, is our concierge desk run by a team of ex-OTC traders based in Australia. Everyday, we get hundreds, some days thousands of tickets. We aim to respond to all within 1-min and resolve nearly all in 24hrs. We can’t fix everything, some things will be restricted for compliance or other reasons. But customer’s know, we bend over backwards.
On my recent trip, one loyal customer told me they accidentally sent $20K of SOL instead of USDC and we sorted it and credited their account within 3-4hrs, and they were reassured within mins. Which other crypto company delivers that?
3/ Brand & community
Anyone can try and build a brand, but if you don’t have product + customer obsession + trust done right, it’s hard work.
Right at the beginning, we started with brand and community, and the points scheme is about socialising our success. When we win, the community wins.
Most others also were quick to look for “fintech” users, whilst we embraced the crypto community as our base. We don’t scrub away the crypto roots.
Yes, over time, we will be used much more widely. But we love crypto, and believe in its potential to change the world, and never shied away from that belief.
