First of all, BAYC is not the only NFT collection that dropped sticker pack on TON. Pudgy Penguins, Azuki, Doodles had done it. But it’s only BAYC holders that asked for token-gated drop on TON

310K+ people wanted get BAYC sticker pack yesterday and yet its current members want an exclusive drop for ourselves
Pudgy Penguins holders didn’t as for one
Azuki holders didn’t ask for one
Doodles holders didn’t ask for one
But BAYC holders are clamoring for an exclusive drop on TON
A lot of other NFT collections would do everything to have a userbase as cult-like as BAYC
BAYC is trying to expand its IP to more people and channel here in Telegram and yet its current holders see it as a new channel to consume more BAYC goods. That’s dream stuff for a company
Other NFT collections have holders, fans, and community. BAYC has a cult. It’s really the best club on the internet
And with these being said… when tokengated BAYC stickers/gift drop guys?!
Tbh, I understand that some OG BAYC Holders were really looking forward to snag a few NFT Stickers on TON at launch.
But I think everyone now really sees what’s happening here. It is very alike to what it was in the beginning of 2021 run.
But now even with the bigger exposure.
On a platform with a Billion Monthly Users.
My thoughts — Whitelist needed.
Because 310k+ ppl trying to get one of the 5,555 NFTs makes it nearly impossible for the majority to grab one.
Including me :)
But as for the existing stickers, the only way to get them now is on secondary market.
Meanwhile, once again I want to clarify…
NFT Stickers ≠ NFT Gifts
Gifts released by the Telegram themselves & them only.
NFT Stickers released by StickerStore in collaboration with many famous IP’s
So far only NFT Gifts are deeply integrated into the Telegram functionality.
Which makes total sense why Plush Pepe NFT Collection sells for $15,000 on the floor.
As for Stickers, the technology is only evolving now, and as any other pieces of tech, it will take some time.
But personally, I am pretty positive about both.
