Celestia-native ZK interop ✨ A first look at Lazybridging on Celestia.
The demo transfers TIA from Celestia (SimApp) to a ZK EVM rollup and back securely. The transfers follow a lock, mint, and burn mechanism with light clients verifying ZK proofs. The repo:
Lazybridging adds native ZK verification to Celestia, unlocking interop between native rollups and verification of Ethereum ZK rollups. Rollups can upgrade their Celestia connection to be trust-minimized - backed by cryptographic proofs instead of just relying on the majority of a validator set.
Next up, a public Lazybridging testnet where builders will be able to deploy Celestia native rollups with trust-minimized access to cross-chain tokens in the Celestia ecosystem. More details on the Lazybridging demo 👇
