I've been hearing about CT leads being in demand. Here are some thoughts: 1. I am a CT lead for @AvailProject. This doesn't mean I'm constantly running the main account. It just means that I'm constantly looking at narratives and meta on what's being talked about on X and representing Avail in all those conversations specifically around DA and interop. 2. CT lead is a mix of everything, but more importantly, it means you are a technical nerd + understand the CT landscape better than anyone else on your team. 3. Some examples of CT leads: > @0xBreadguy for @megaeth_labs > @dabit3 and @sreeramkannan for @eigenlayer > @Alucard_eth representing @EclipseFND > @SmokeyTheBera representing beras > @Punk9277 and @0xWenMoon representing kaito > @nikokampouris for uniswap > @AlexOnchain for cb now.9 It doesn't mean that these folks run the main account. It simply means that they are the first person you connect with when you think of their projects. 4. One big misconception that so many companies have is that just by hiring the next breadguy or @beast_ico will get you traction or users. Very wrong. You will probably only capture 5-10% of users by being active on CT. Being CT savvy basically means that you and your project will be remembered while talking about your category. You will be included in wider talks and you will get a seat at the table. This doesn't have anything to do with actually getting users. 5. Every company should have at least one CT lead kind of person on their teams who has their ears and eyes everywhere. How to be a CT lead though? I will write a longer thread on that.
