some thoughts on $PUMP... tl;dr: team doesn't have a plan. they have a big war chest that can change things, but i'd rather not wait around for them to figure it out as far as a trade goes this is primarily based on my observation of alon and his actions, visiblity, and impact post-launch you see him engaging on the TL with random memes, splashing some sol around here and there, but there's no real lore establishment, no breadcrumbs he provides. he doesn't really seem to be in the trenches, especially compared to his bonk competitors on that note, i think alon is stretched thin. bonk has at least a half dozen people with high visibility who provide consistent engagement with both established and new memes. pump has only alon. there's only so much he can do, even if he did everything right indefinitely postponing the airdrop was not the right move, as it signals that there is no plan. this is because all previous indications were that an airdrop was coming. so this is a response to the chart, a response to chatter, to the fear that an airdrop is the next plane to hit the towers if there was a plan, alon wouldn't care about the chart. he'd think "i have half a billion dollars and i know what i'm doing with it," and he wouldn't make impulsive decisions based on what he thinks other people, primarily those who are overleveraged or oversized, are worrying about my advice to alon re: airdrop would be to explore things to reduce sell pressure from an airdrop. there are a lot of options here. staking, linear vs. big bang, etc. my advice regarding efficacy and culture is a lot harder to implement and is beyond any one person's capabilities. my take is he needs to find people and delegate to them and not get so caught up in number go up or the chart, but to focus on the actual work that needs to be done
