this is a good clip showing what axie/ronin/skymavis have been building with Atias Legacy (the new axie mmo)
it's visually appealing and vibrant which i think is important for longevity. It also looks really smooth.
things i would love to see that would make it great:
-make it easy for first time people experiencing Axie to fall in love with the IP
-have some sick mini games with gacha mechanics. Good way to use Ronin VRF rng and create hype moments.
-make collectible axies stand out and have benefits. In this clip we see weapons that each axie has.. It would be cool to give mystics their own permanent "mystic" weapons. I also think mystics and other collectibles should be more visually unique from starter/basic units. Maybe even act as "keys" to open up specific areas of the MMO.
-Add in a ton of social dynamics. Axie has a huge background with guilds in the games and I think it could get really exciting seeing that fire get relit.
-Integrate Axie XP / a deep progression system with incentives that drive people to want to log on everyday. If upgrading my axie really means something in the MMO it would be a huge upgrade to the axie economy
-creatively add value to the existing land assets in the game
if the team constantly iterates and has a good way to gather feedback, I think they can build something great for Ronin.
