I think over a period of time $S @SonicLabs will become home to @USDC just like Tron is home for USDT.
Why?
Only Layer 1 with instant finality and near to zero fee for transactions. L2's can't compete as no matter how fast they are large institutions/CEX need settlement on base layer before marking the tx as confirmed.
A simple app designed for gasless USDC transfer with inbuilt AAVE yield would be a killer app on Sonic (not for speculators) but for real usage in underserved geographical countries!
