Today, Optimism dropped brand new citizenship requirements so that *anyone* can become a citizen *capped at 1000 Citizens are eligible for voting on things like retrofunding, vetoing chain upgrades, and have been eligible for airdrops in the past New there are 3 requirements👇
1) Onchain activity: - First superchain transaction at least 1 year ago - at least 2 superchain transactions per month for 3 of the last 6 months "superchain" includes: OP Mainnet, Base, World Chain, Unichain, Ink, Soneium, Mode, Zora, Swell, Metal, BOB, and many more
2) Atlas profile: Optimism has a website called "Optimism Atlas" for most of their governance activities. You just need to register here for this requirement
3) Proof of Personhood: Citizens have to be individual humans, so you need to prove your humanhood by either using WorldID or KYCing
These are for End-user Citizens, there are also Chain Citizens and App Citizens for the other types of stakeholders. You can find the full info on Citizens and the link to register pinned to my profile:
*CORRECTION* this is from either gitcoin passport score, (now just called "Passport"), or World ID. There is no centralized KYC
