DAO governance is indeed hard to scale.
Forums are jungles. Voting is complex. Participation drops as DAOs grow.
Agentic Governance Initiative (AGI) proposes proxy AI agents to vote, comment, and engage on your behalf in the Arbitrum DAO.
But can it really solve the problem?👇

2/ The idea of AGI:
Each user is represented by an AI agent trained to act on their behalf, based on users' preferences.
These agents can read forums, write comments, vote with rationales, and even suggest proposal changes.

3/ But here’s our concern:
More agents ≠ more decentralization
If we rely too much on AI, we risk turning Swarm into a default voice.
It’s efficient, but where’s the nuance? Real governance isn’t just about intelligence, it’s about diversity of thought, disagreement, and human judgment.

4/ AI agents can be helpful, breaking down proposals, maybe suggesting comments.
But Agentic Governance may not be the solution to DAOs' core problems.
Also worth asking: if the DIP program restricts AI, does AGI go against that direction?
Exploring AI is necessary not to fall behind, but it must be done with care.
5/ What do you think about AGI? Share your thoughts on the discussion.
If you resonate with our concerns, we’d appreciate your support by delegating voting power to us, represented by @DefiIgnas: 0x3DDC7d25c7a1dc381443e491Bbf1Caa8928A05B0
