We've been building trading software for +15 years, and we know UXUI is the #1 priority. That's why V3 plans now go beyond improving spot execution. V3 introduces new features to capture more verticals and streamline user flow across them.

✅ Spot execution: this is the pain point for loopers who trade with high leverage and hence suffer from bad execution in DeFi. Frequent Batch Auctions (FBAs) aim to improve pricing on loops. If FBAs can’t offer better prices, orders will still be routed to DEX meta-aggregators, as in the current V2.

✅ Non-custodial architecture via SAFE smart accounts: your looping positions will no longer be held by Contango contracts. Instead, you’ll be able to view, import and manage underlying borrow/lend positions directly from your wallet.

✅ Improved user experience with Account Abstraction: @safe smart accounts will unlock smoother onboarding (via email or biometric logins), gas sponsorship, recovery, and other UX enhancements.

@privy_io @stripe ✅ Faster integration of new instruments and money markets: this new framework allows Contango to list assets (like @pendle_fi or RWA products) up to 10x faster, bringing them live to prod almost instantly.

✅ Advanced automation tools: expect features like price-based and rate-based take profit/stop loss (TP/SL), constant leverage, TWAP execution for large orders, and more.

In a nutshell: V3 is about bringing a better price discovery onchain and make looping, swapping or leveraging waaaay more efficient and fully decentralized. Eventually, Contango will become 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘋𝘦𝘍𝘪.
