Oh man.... @Pons_ETH .... This is brilliant.... We are like frogs in a pond with InfoFi currently... a really noisy pond.... where we all 'ribbit' at each other making for a really concentrated noisy signal in one part of X Imagine being able to make it to the larger ecosystem... linking all those ponds together... different noises finding their way across different parts of the X ecosystem That would be true InfoFi... The only thing that stumps me is, how does Reputation fit into all this? Is it the factor that converts noise to signal?
Lots of people on the timeline and in my DMs are asking: What is @xeetdotai? What makes it different? Do we really need another InfoFi platform? Those questions will be answered in detail soon enough. But for now, I’ll take a highlight (though not yet explain) the gaps we plan to fill in the InfoFi market: 1.) Signal > Noise 2.) Users > Yappers Today, the most successful InfoFi campaigns could more accurately be described as NoiseFi, including the Xeet intro that took over the timeline last Friday. While brand awareness is great, it only truly matters to the business paying for that awareness if it converts those now brand aware individuals into long-term customers who generate sustainable revenue. If InfoFi is to become a sustainable marketing model for creators and businesses the model will have to ensure incentives are aligned for all involved. 1. The businesses 2. The creators 3. The fans of those creators 4. The product’s consumers In short, these dots have to do more than circulate info amongst themselves.
