A big relief.
With the successful execution of this week's mainnet upgrade and airdrop, I finally felt the launch of trustless BTC staking is completed.
- Over $10B BTC activated. The system proved to be super secure and stable.
- BABY inflation reduced to a more sustainable level.
- BTC-BABY co-staking activated to align BTC stakers with the BABY ecosystem.
- All airdrops concluded. All promises fulfilled.
Next week will be a fresh start. I can finally fully focus on the new chapter of Babylon.
Two top priorities:
1. Build the trustless Bitcoin vault protocol and use it to activate $100B Bitcoin.
2. Work with the community and ecosystem collaborators to improve BABY’s tokenomics, accessibility, and DeFi utilities, which are far from satisfactory.
Ultimately, I want Babylon to create real values for the industry, and can navigate the market cycles and thrive.
