How are people still spinning this narrative in 2025? There are other stablecoins who will gladly eat up Circle's (or Ripple's) marketshare if they try to behave adversely towards Ethereum or its users.
many of us sounded the warnings about centralized stables on decentralized autonomous systems for years, even some things like Terra that turned out terrible were motived by the desire to break centralized stable dominance
now look...it would be a *fiasco* if Ripple acquires influence over the Ethereum network via USDC...this deal should be stopped in any way possible...
