If you're paying attention, you'll realize what Mantle is building could change how we all access on-chain finance 🧵
I’ve been tracking @Mantle_Official | $MNT on the tech side, and honestly, they’re fixing the core experience for everyone.
So what they’re doing under the hood:
They’re moving away from optimistic rollups and shifting to ZK Validity Rollups
Partnering with @SuccinctLabs and their modular SP1 system.
If you’re a user, here’s what that means:
→ No more waiting
→ Faster finality (under 1 hour)
→ Lower costs
→ And way better security
But what really impressed me?
They’re not breaking what already works.
If you’re a dev, you don’t need to re-learn anything.
Solidity, OP Stack, the tools you already use… they still work. The upgrade happens behind the scenes.
The SP1 prover network handles the heavy lifting.
EigenDA takes care of data availability.
I really like how they’ve built this modular, which means they can scale without compromising security or UX.
And here’s where it gets interesting…
ZK tech doesn’t just help with security. It’s a must if DeFi wants to reach institutions.
Because honestly, no fund manager is going to trade openly on a chain where everyone sees their wallet and every move.
ZK Validity Rollups give you mathematical proof without exposing data. It’s the kind of privacy that serious capital demands.
If $MNT nails this, they won’t just be another chain. They’ll be a real bridge between TradFi and DeFi.
Now let’s talk UX, because this is where I think they’re making the biggest leap:
Chain abstraction via Bungee.
Bridges, swaps, wallets... headache city.
$MNT simplifies this. You just say: “I want to send assets to Mantle for staking.” → Done.
The system figures out the fastest, cheapest way to do it.
You don’t need to know which bridge. Or what token format. It just works.
This is powered by Bungee and ERC-7683 + intent-based logic.
You set a goal, and it gets handled behind the scenes. It feels like using #PayPal, but under the hood, it's pure DeFi magic.
Honestly, this is what we’ve all been waiting for.
They’re rolling out RIP-7212 for new users.
→ Social logins
→ Passkey wallets
→ Zero setup stress
If you’ve onboarded a normie before, you know how big of a deal this is.
So here’s where I land:
✅ Privacy and finality via ZK
✅ Simple, intuitive UX with chain abstraction
✅ Dev-friendly infra that doesn’t demand rewrites
✅ Entry-level onboarding that feels like Web2
They’re designing a better experience.
I’m bullish on Mantle, not just for what it is now, but what they’re becoming:
A serious contender to bring everyone on-chain, whether it’s your first wallet or your firm’s next DeFi play.
Let me know what you think👇
