Earning a competitive yield on & borrowing stacks against one of the most productive blue chip assets this cycle is a pretty big deal imo
The hype market is currently $1.2b on hypeEVM
Soon it'll be $2b after @kinetiq_xyz launches
Then it'll be $5b if $HYPE hits $75-100
tbh, there's no utility for hype on HyperCore
I can imagine the market ballooning to $20-$50b as more hype holders move to HyperEVM
Not a bad market to serve as a builder
Hyperliquid.
The main issue (not for HL itself, but for those looking to build on HyperEVM) is that HyperEVM doesn’t benefit from HyperCore distribution or flow; it only works the other way around.
If HyperEVM had allowed building AMM and feeding this liquidity into HL orderbooks, I would have been the first to build on top of it.
But as it stands, HL only receives flow from the EVM side. So I don’t see much potential beyond looping stHype-hype strategies and minting stablecoins against Hype on HyperEVM.
