The second-ranked streamer (CkP55EfXWA2ofnyBt2WfYy5b17qBPfj9GTxnZm71Hmkq) seems to be the most popular, with nearly 500 users tipping a total of $2,700.
Interestingly, a user (HfvPGhWfuBaLR67ofUULJwDWXt3nqNUFr8Qjfouy8V5o) is the "biggest tipper" for multiple top streamers. 🤭
Since the launch of tipping on SideKick over a month ago, users have spent nearly $100,000 tipping streamers.
Like traditional live streaming platforms, SideKick also takes a cut from user tips as platform revenue. Traditional live streaming platforms typically take a 30%-50% cut, while SideKick currently takes a 50% cut, which constitutes the core revenue of SideKick. Therefore, all streamers and the platform have each earned nearly $50,000.
When users tip streamers with gifts, they are actually tipping SOL/BNB/U to the streamer's address. There is a small issue where the streamer's address can be seen on-chain, which means that large tips can potentially bypass the platform's cut. Of course, the gifts themselves provide an emotional value.
