It's been eye-opening (and tbh heartbreaking) to see how many Ethereans want Bitcoin to fail. I still hope it's just a vocal minority.
To those people, I suggest you watch more closely what's happening on the Bitcoin dev scene.
For instance, did you know that proposals like CTV & CSFS wouldn't just significantly improve existing scaling solutions, but also enable powerful features like:
- Key delegation (a.k.a. account abstraction)
- User-controlled escape hatches
- Advanced paths for future upgradability and governance
And you still think ZK rollups will never be possible on Bitcoin. Few.
Don't be that guy. Come back to your cypherpunk roots and wish for Bitcoin to succeed in fixing this broken world. You don't have to stop being excited about Ethereum or stop committing to it. That's your choice. But don't be foolish enough to wish for the extinction of humanity's biggest hope for freedom tech and individual empowerment.
The security budget will be fixed. Quantum resistance will be solved.
Bitcoin will not only survive but grow stronger. It's the ultimate representation of resilience and antifragility.
