2/ 💹 Derivatives are echoing the move: short-tenor implied vols and put skews in BTC, ETH and SOL have cooled from panic highs, while our Block Scholes Risk Appetite Indices are edging away from capitulation territory. Open interest and volumes are still well below pre–10 Oct levels.
3/ 📊 Altcoin perps told a very different story to majors during the sell-off. Funding turned sharply negative as traders paid up to be short into further downside, whereas BTC and ETH funding stayed broadly positive, suggesting less appetite to lean aggressively short the largest assets.
