hate to break it to folks, but unless you want your token to be deemed a security, you simply can't pay out fees or dividends to token holders, tyvm gary gensler
perhaps the us market structure bill will allow for this, but we don't live in a world where that has passed yet

do u know how retarded it is that this industry decided to launch tokens at multi billion valuations, realise their token went down only, and instead of just not doing that, everyone is now "dedicating revenues to buying back"
imo, this middle ground is retarded, you either let the token go to 0 & take the fat W exit

i suppose we can stop launching new tokens and go back to bidding l1 memes like xpr and ada, but i prefer to see great revenue producing projects launch tokens to expand their stakeholder base, use best mechanisms they can today and evolve value accrual as regulations evolve

@jack_anorak metadao and aerodrome have novel launch mechanisms that may work in the long term and are interesting models
but to date, it's pretty clear that the people bidding these fair launchpad tokens are in it more for speculation than deeply caring about governance + token properties
