Why you should yap in English, if you are going to target both Cookie and Kaito. @OpenledgerHQ is currently the first project that is leveraging both Kaito and @cookiedotfun to gain the attention from yappers and the community. But if you compare the algorithm and smart followers logic between Kaito and Cookie, you realize quite fast that it is much better to yap in English rather than in another language. I will show you why. 1. Data about Kaito I am going to use my own data, because that it he only data I can actually access. - Account : Jayplayco , mainly yapping in Korean and KOL for Research based Korean GTM and founder of Jayplay Labs - Followers : 6500 - Smart Followers : Kaito 245 / Cookie 112 - Highest Mindshare : Kaito 0.046% / Cookie - Top 0.068% - Yaps / Snaps : 706 Yaps / 8.15 Snaps 2. Analysis The way how Kaito and Cookie works is a bit different. Yaps and Snaps are only gained in a differently, as Yaps can be gained with any Crypto related content on Kaito, but on Cookie you gain only with relevant leaderboards. So comparing Yaps with Snaps is kind of comparing apples with pears. But if you go into mindshare it is a bit different. Mindshare seems to work on a bit similar way on Kaito and Cookie. The main success you need here is to have not only good content but also the right engagement from the right smart followers. So, here you can find the biggest difference between Kaito and Cookie, as long as you yap in Korean. If you compare the smartfollower numbers between Kaito and Cookie, you may see that the numbers differ about 100%. This seems to be mainly because @cookiedotfun does not count as much Korean Smart Followers as Kaito does. This means when writing in Korean and getting your interaction mostly from Korean accounts, Cookie does not react on Mindshare or Snaps as effective as on Kaito. It does not means that Cookie has a bad algorithm, it only means that the current Smart Follower DB from Cookie does not covers "other language" Smart Followers. 3. How to countermeasure it As a user, the best you can do is to convert your content into English and reach out to the international community, as there are the smart followers staying. From the @cookiedotfun team, my wish would be to have a look into the smart followers for other languages and review it. :)
