According to SEC filings, the sale occurred before May 31, yet the market was ultimately settled as “No”, wiping out some trader positions, with reported losses reaching nearly $500K. For me, this is bigger than a single market outcome. Prediction platforms are built on transparency and rule consistency. If participants feel rules can be reinterpreted after the result is known, confidence can disappear much faster than liquidity. At a time when major events like the World Cup and NBA Finals are expected to drive record activity, trust becomes the most valuable asset.
