DeeKay announces the second of two recent collectors - @tony_pieces - who acquires 1/1 artwork 'I ♡ Korea'.
@deekaymotion credits @CozomoMedici for initial discovery, with the art connection first sparked at a museum fundraising event. While the price is undisclosed, he mentions that it is "in the similar range as my last 1/1, a respectful number".
DeeKay reflects further:
"This piece was never meant to be minted. It was created specifically for my solo show in Korea, and I told myself I’d only mint it if it found a truly special home, something like the Korean National Museum (dream big, right?). Then I met Tony...
[He] invited me to his home in Korea... It was my first time seeing a collector so passionately curating and showcasing physical art, it really hit different. It felt right."
🤠 How The West Was Won
'< when the west was lost >' by @m0dest___ closes five 1/1 artwork auctions with @SuperRare for 16.88 ETH total across four collectors:
- 'the bloom': 4.69 ETH to @SamuraiSpirit88
- 'the debt': 3.49 ETH to @MysterioNFT
- 'the quiet': 3 ETH to @otoalchemist
- 'the agreement': 2.9 ETH to @XLK83
- 'the pact': 2.8 ETH to XLK
The artist later unveils a bidder's edition - 'carrier of silence' - which has been claimed 32 times thus far.
🛠️ Tool Shed
'Tool' by @jackbutcher | @visualizevalue sells for 6 ETH to @MysterioNFT from friendlyastutecondor.eth.
The artwork was minted in October of 2022 as one of the eight artwork 'Point VV' collection. Just this weekend it sold for 0.02 WETH as part of the large group of artworks exiting the AOI Collection.
