A proposal to let Lido Curated Node Operators adopt Distributed Validator Technology (DVT) with either @Obol_Collective or @ssv_network is live.
TLDR:
A proposal to implement DVT at scale to power a portion of the Lido Curated Module and increase protocol decentralisation.

DVT is already proven at scale: more than 145,000 mainnet validators run it (125k+ on SSV, roughly 16k on Obol).
Inside Lido, the Simple DVT Module scores 97.5% effectiveness and a 99% block-proposal success rate, while CSM adds another 1300 DVT validators.
The tech works, and it performs.
Under the proposed guidelines, a Curated operator would complete a Hoodi testnet dry-run, then deploy DVT in an intra-operator setup.
Operators could split up to 1000 of their keys, keep a slice of provider rewards, and send the rest to the @mellow_protocol Decentralized Validator Vault (DVV), providing additional rewards to DVV stakers while aiding decentralization.
Incentives follow a simple split: Curated operators keep 20% of Obol/SSV rewards and the remaining 80% boosts the Decentralized Validator Vault.
Identified Community Stakers in CSM would see their incentive share rise to 25%, nudging more home stakers toward DVT.
Safeguards remain tight. Key-split limits could contain risk, and Lido’s 6,500+ stETH cover fund stands in the event of an unexpected slashing event. .
