Where it all started:
On June 16, 2025, SRM Entertainment (a near-forgotten Nasdaq small-cap stock) suddenly announced:
Justin Sun will inject $100 million into TRON ecosystem-related assets (including TRX, BitTorrent, etc.) through its fund. The company was subsequently renamed "Tron Inc." and will exist as a shell of TRON-based assets in the U.S. stock market in the future.
This is a typical reverse merger operation:
It's not that I go to the IPO queue, but I just buy a shell and let it become me. In this way, TRON's status as a "quasi-listed company" is stable.
Operation Details:
SRM itself is a company that sells children's toys, and its performance is dismal and no one cares.
Justin Sun signed the agreement as an "advisor" to control the board of directors, inject assets, and commit to the rights to issue tokens in the future.
These injected assets include: on-chain market capitalization assets (TRX, BTT) + portfolio (e.g. HTX, TUSD) + a bunch of stories.
The U.S. stock market is desperate for themes like "AI + Crypto + Listing", so SRM's stock price soared by more than 1,000% in a week.
