🔵The ARFC proposal for deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet has been approved by the community.
DeThings reported on May 6th that, according to Aave's official statement, the ARFC proposal for deploying Aave V3 on the Aptos mainnet has been approved by the community. The next stage will involve submitting an AIP (Aave Improvement Proposal) for on-chain voting, after which it will officially go live.
According to the proposal published on the Aave governance forum on April 16th, the Aave community has initiated the governance process to deploy Aave V3 to the Aptos mainnet. This marks Aave's first entry into a non-EVM chain, aiming to enhance protocol performance and expand the user base by leveraging Aptos' high throughput, low cost, and the security features of the Move language. The assets to be deployed include APT, USDC, USDT, sUSDe, with risk parameters provided by Chaos Labs and Llama Risk. The Aptos Foundation has also committed to providing up to 2 million APT in liquidity incentives.
