Animoca Brands, a Hong Kong-based crypto investment firm, is planning to list in New York. Co-founder Yat Siu said the Trump administration's lax regulation of crypto assets provides a "unique opportunity" to tap into the world's largest capital market. Animoca was previously valued at nearly $6 billion and has a portfolio that includes companies such as OpenSea, Kraken and Consensys. Yat Siu said the company was not considering a U.S. IPO last year, but now "the U.S. market has become unmissable." Animoca said it is considering a variety of shareholding structures and that the listing announcement "may be made shortly".
