I wouldn't overthink the crypto market right now
Altcoins have been in such a prolonged bear market for one main reason: interest rates
Altcoins had never seen a high rates environment before this and besides a few out-performers: they did not perform well compared to BTC
However...
Not only are rates finally coming lower globally (Fed is lagging but will no doubt follow suit with more cuts)... the EFFR<>altcoin bid/dominance top lag is almost over (60 weeks, h/t @ZFXtrading). The lag ends in September I believe... but likely won't be exactly the same as previous rate cutting cycles... according to this lag - BTC dominance will top at some point this year with an anchor point in September
IMO rates have a *long* way to go yet on the downside too, it is inevitable
Cheaper money --> more risk taking further down the risk curve
Plus, we're in the last year of the 4 year BTC cycle, which is usually the most explosive year (where altcoins outperform). Dependent on how quickly CB's cut rates further across the board this year.... could get a prolonged cycle too
Don't overthink this, we will sell our bags significantly higher than they are now, don't fuck it up
