.@StargateFinance is the liquidity layer for L2s
In June, @StargateFinance processed 619,440 cross-chain messages.
Traffic was distributed unevenly - the top three networks accounted for more than 60 % of the total volume, far ahead of the other blockchains.
🔹 @base leads - 144,445 messages, or roughly 23 % of the traffic.
🔹 In second place - @arbitrum with 114,025 messages (≈ 18 %). Despite this, @arbitrum ranks first in LayerZero’s overall statistics: in June it handled 242,428 messages, compared with 201,368 for @base. This reflects deeper protocol integration.
🔹 Closing the top three is @Optimism - 108,694 messages, about 17.5 % of the total. The network shows stable traffic and remains one of the main directions for cross-chain activity.
It will be interesting to see whether @arbitrum can overtake @base on Stargate.
This question arises given its recent surge in popularity, strong mindshare leadership on Kaito among all L2s, and its first place in the overall LayerZero message count.
